STEVE BRODY, Ph.D.
A clinical psychologist and writer living in Cambria, CA, past president of the Division of Media Psychology of the American Psychological Association. As a network television reporter for twenty years, he contributed psychology features to CBS News and NBC News. He has also appeared on Oprah several times. He is the co-author of Renew Your Marriage at Midlife (Putnam, 1999) and the spiritual suspense novel The New Commandments (Champion Press, 2004). He co-created a situation comedy for television with Universal Pictures along with a television news magazine and a reality TV show.

Carlos & Kyle Plummer
Based in Cambria, CA, “The Plummer Brothers” are a filmmaking duo who specialize in narrative and commercial filmmaking. Hailing from the Central Coast, and graduating from Utah Tech University, the Plummer Brothers founded SuperImage, Ltd. - a post production company that offers full service editing, color, sound, and delivery for short and feature films. The Strawberry is their feature directorial debut.

Julian Mercado Avila
Raised in Cambria, he has spent the last five years in Burbank pursuing his passion for filmmaking. He graduated from Woodbury University with a BFA in Creative Producing in May 2023. Over the past four years, he has established his own company, Slabtown Studios, where he produces commercial and narrative films. His experience as an independent film producer includes projects such as "Don’t Freeze" (Short), "Christmas Couple: Unwrapped" (Short), "Our Monster" (Short), "Astray" (Feature Film), "The GOAT" (Award-Winning Feature Film) and “Hidden Creek” (Award-Winning Feature Film).

Darien Jewel
A Creative Producer and Director, Darien has been working on various projects across the west coast. Over the past few years he has provided logistical and creative assistance on the documentary, "Reservation Redemption" and the feature film "The GOAT" along with a series of podcasts including "Moving Past Murder" and "Badass Babes of Entertainment". Now joining Slabtown Studios and teaming up with Julian Mercado Avila, he is proud to make his directorial debut with Hidden Creek.
